The Mod Portals feature allows users to create up to five pairs of portals that facilitate movement between designated colors. Users can utilize the portal controller to establish and define each portal's color. The available colors include blue, light green, orange, red, and purple, with corresponding dyes also available in these colors. All portals share a consistent design format.

It’s important to note that these portals do not lead to the Void or End realms; rather, they offer unique destinations within the game world. To create portals, players will need to acquire specific materials: two portal controllers, twenty-six portal frames, and two portal cores in any chosen color from the five available.

The initial step involves placing the portal controller block. Users will notice an arrow on the side of the block, which serves as a guide to ensure the proper construction of the wireframe. The frame must follow the design shape similar to that of the standard Void frame with corners. The center of the portal should align with the indicated arrow.

It is crucial that the frame be constructed correctly; deviations from this specific form will not suffice. Once built, interacting with the portal controller with a selected portal core will activate it. To establish an additional portal of the same color, repeat this process.

If you need to dismantle a portal, simply break the portal controller. While recovery of the portal core is not possible, the controller can be reobtained.

Caution is advised when creating portals near water or if water is involved within portal mechanics. If a portal is inadvertently moved during use, it may disrupt its functioning; however, introducing a negative potion effect can eliminate it effectively. It is also recommended to avoid applying harmful potions if there is no intention to deactivate the portal.

In cases where a portal becomes damaged due to external factors—such as harm, lightning strikes, or creep—remedying this is straightforward. By breaking the portal controller again, users can restore functionality to their portals.
